My name is Martina and at the moment I’m an intern at Rest New Zealand Tours for 7 months. I am a student of tourism at a university in Germany and this internship is part of my studies. During my stay here I travel on the weekends to all these fantastic places in New Zealand. To give you some impressions about this, I will write about my experiences during my trips.

The trip to Coromandel was one of the best here in New Zealand so far. We mixed tourist attractions with insider tips. A drive along the Road 309 is an excellent possibility to buy

the famous Manuka Honey (yummy – it’s very nice and healthy!) at a little shop, visit the giant Siamese Kauri and have a break at the Waiau Falls.

Not only Hot Water Beach and Cathedral Cove but also great views and lonely beaches make

Coromandel an unforgettable place.
Tip: Cathedral Cove, the little honey shop “309 Honey” as well as all the little bays
