Reinhard started the company in 1987 and he is nowadays mainly responsible for the international marketing and promotion of its touring products.

Roland Pluczinski
General Manager
Roland joined the company in 1990 as a Driver/Guide for the 4×4 Group Safaris and changed from the driver’s seat to an office seat in 1996. Since then he is responsible for product development, tour price calculations and the operational side of the business.

Michaela (Michi) Krauss
Reservations Manager
Michi stared with REST in 2008 and liaises between the partner and supplier network. She is responsible for the execution of all incoming bookings to the point of the client’s departure from New Zealand. She also maintains the comprehensive data base and booking software.

Marianne Weissbach
Publisher
Marianne compiles the very comprehensive tour manuals for our self drive clients. The manuals guide customers step by step through the itinerary and provide them with detailed information about the various highlights and the booked accommodation.

Jillianne (Jill) Hueber
Accounts Manager
Jill is responsible for incoming tour payments as well as the payment of suppliers. She liaises closely with our distributor network, suppliers and our chartered accountants.

Interns
We usually employ two overseas students who study tourism at an overseas University and require practical experience as part of their studies. They usually stay for up to six months with the company before they return home to complete their studies.

Guides
We work with a group of highly motivated and experienced freelance guides.
